Hi All

Well we have done our first show today the judge was very nice, he took the trouble to ask what he was before judging.

Paulo got 4th in AV Working/Pastoral out of a class of 10 and when the judge gave me the certificate he said that he loved his outline but wished he new more about the breed. In the open class he gave him 2nd out of 12. Paulo took it all in his stride once he new what was going on, it was inside and unfortunately the floor was well polished and when Paulo came to a stop the feet stopped put the body kept on moving forward what fun. But we all had a great time and he had lot admirers.

Well done Paulo Exclamation Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy So glad you enjoyed the show. Lets hope you get lots of opportunities to get out and be shown in this country.

We have found that judges have not had a clue what breed they are judging. So Peter always tells the judge when he/she is going over Daisy.
It can go either way though. Most think she is a bad Briard
Laughing Laughing So when a Briard appears in the ring they are usually judged on what the Briard looks like Exclamation

Daisy has not been to a show since the beginning of October. She really has missed her days out - roll on next Summer. After having days of rain she really is fed up. We were supposed to go to a Fun Show last weekend but a job came up for Spud.
