I was so sorry to hear of Fred's death on New Year's Day. Sad My thoughts are with Louise and her family at the loss of such a character and delightful friend. Fred won everyone's hearts at the Summer Serrathon 2009. Rest in peace dear fellow.

We are so sorry that you have lost Fred. What a character and great ambassador for the dog world. We will all remember him enjoying his day out at the Serrathon. He really enjoyed himself.

Rest In Peace Fred. Crying or Very sad

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, it means a great deal that he has a place is so many hearts.

Fred had been ill for quite a while and we knew there was no hope of recovery. Eventually it was clear that the time had come to let him go, and when I saw all his discomfort and pain slide away I knew that it had been the right decision.

Anytime I get a little sad that I have lost him, I remind myself that the real point is the happiness I felt for all those years he was with us. Of course having Charlie B is a huge comfort and watching him clown in the snow can't fail to make to me smile Smile

Having another dog is a great help,as you say Louise, you can't avoid a smile whenever he's playing.

Oh Louise, what very sad news I'm so sorry. Fred was the most gorgeous little chap with an amazing tail, he really did charm us all when we met in the summer. Thinking of you and your family at this sad time.
