I see from your posting on other sites that you have imported the first serra into Poland and that you are setting up a website. Congratulations on choosing the serra. They are a lovely breed. I too imported the first serras into the UK. I established this website based on the model and technical skill of Paul Andringa and The Friendly Clubs. I chose to do this as it's an open forum for everyone even though I have my own site for my serras - Amigavel. Good luck with promoting the serra. Anytime we can help there's always someone willing to talk. Laughing

Riitta has let me know that Angel is a sister to my dog Finn. She was bred by Päivi Metsätalo and has been exhibition in Poland. Small world isn't it. Laughing

Although we speek English a little, we will write about our Ara My Love. She is very friendly puppy and has enormous amount of energy Laughing

Previously we had Cane de Pastore Bergamasco (Ambra) but she was very ill and she dead in May this year…She was 15 year old. Then the promised one, we never again will have a dog… Today we have little, wonderful puppy Rolling Eyes

I had the same feeling when you've lost Sydney at the age of eight years Sad

in December 2009 .. A dog never replaces another, it makes us not forget but we can make it less difficult departure from what we liked.
He must love them for themselves .... they are all different Exclamation

Welcome with the serra lovers.I belive most of us have lived the pain of losing our beloved dog and a normal reaction is not get another one,not to pass throu the pain of losing another Sad

my beutifull german sheaperd died may 2008,with 12 years old and after a very ugly disease.At first i didn't want another one,but...after 5 months of crying my husband convised me to get another and Fivos arrived Laughing

it's not the same,he's very different from Leonidas,but he's a wonderfull company and somehow helped a lot to ease the pain of losing the other.I still miss Leon a lot,i dream about him very often.So,because they live so much less then we do,we really have to enjoy their company while they are with us,and serras are amazing littel fellows Laughing

We had to have Witchy our 12.5 year old Samoyed put to sleep last Thursday. Vet found a massive tumour on her spleen. Sad

Daisy, Floosie, Spud & Cedric have been very quiet since then. Sad

Hello. It seems that there's been an error. Ritta says: That Angel is not my Finn's sister, there are two serra de aires in Poland- My dog's sister Arielka ( FIN53932/05 Pienimerenneito ( export to Poland )) and the new puppy Angel.

Riitta has kindly sent further information. I now understand clearly that there are two serra de aires in Poland. There is Angel's litter sister Ara my Love MT in Poland AND there is Finn's litter sister, Arielka, in Poland too.

I confirm that in Poland there are two Cao da Serra de Aires. I found another in Torun (Poland) in Caroline Chojnacka. Now I know that Ara has a girlfriend Arielkê Wink

Maybe we can persuade the Poles to this wonderful breed.

I just came back from the exhibition Valentine Bydgoszcz. Ara got: very promising. In the explanatory memorandum was written, "Very nice happy puppy with a good expression, very nice head and body, typical topline, well set legs, augurs high hopes for exhibition."
