Today is the London Marathon. http://www.virginlondonmarathon.com/
It's been held successfully now for the last 30 years. It made me think about dogs I see from time to time running with their owners - not in the Marathon but when I'm out with my own dogs. What do you think about it? Is it good for the dogs? If it's the only run the dogs get I think it would limit their opportunity for scenting and enjoying a walk. It could be depressing for them all the time. Plus I wonder about the effect on their joints. Dogs aren't designed to be distance runners even though they do need good exercise for their mental wellbeing, especially the serra. Just a thought. Very Happy
