It's complicated to bring people and dogs, especially when all people live far from each other! We have the same problems here Sad !
The CASA considered making a rally in 2011, if you want you're all invited! Very Happy , I know ........ it's very far and not easy to come to France ....

If the CASA does organise an event please let us know Catherine. Laughing I do come to France from time to time and I did enjoy the day I spent with you and all the other serra owners a while ago. It was a real treat to have 30/40 serras around Shocked

Just back from the 'Serrathon of the North' at the Bakewell show. Daisy, Nico, Charlie B and the resplendent Spud rubbed along like old friends (i.e. taking relatively little notice of one another!). Just Daisy and Charlie together got plenty of interest, but the arrival of Nico seemed to prompt even more - three must really be a magic number! Lovely day Very Happy

Peter was organised enough to bring a camera so I'm sure that there will be some posted when he and Gina arrive home.

Photo's now posted on photo albumn. Hope Louise & Charlie B, Steve and Nico arrived home safely. It was a lovely day meeting up with you all.

Steve Hall the Best In Show Judge and Derek Allsop (a well respected Pastoral judge) at the Bakewell Show were very impressed with our Serra's. Lots of interest also from exhibitors and in our Hotel during our stay (Daisy had lots of fuss) Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes and loved it Exclamation

We did watch the Import Register Classes and our Cao da Serra de Aires would have outshone all of them if allowed to be shown. We had a little show practice with Charlie B and Nico and they really did move exceptionally well Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy So the Import Register Dogs should look out - here we come Wink

It took us 9.5 hours to get home yesterday ............................5.5 hours on the M25...............due to one accident on the Queen Elizabeth Bridge (Dartford Tunnel). Evil or Very Mad Daisy and spud stayed in the car most of that time. They are very tired today.

What a journey Shocked It does sound though that you had a great time. Excellent idea meeting up at a show, very good PR. So let's try for a meeting next year for us all at a show to increase the impact of our dogs. Laughing All suggestions welcome Very Happy Enjoy your Sunday everyone. Very Happy
