This would be very exciting. For a number of us it would be possible to come to Windsor to meet you. What are the dates Gina? Chava has done brilliantly in the show ring all down to good breeding and a dedicated owner, congratulations. |

I'm not sure on the dates for Windsor 2011 but looks to me as if it could be From Thursday 30th June, Friday 1st July, Saturday 2nd July and Sunday 3rd July. Pastoral/Working day this year is on Saturday 3rd July so next year would be on the Friday. (Groups are judged on different days). I am going this year only to look and shop and meet up with old friends. As the Serra is not K/C reg I don't think we would be let into the show even for NFC but could meet up in the very large grass Car Park (We would have to check up on this one though). Windsor Champ Show is a very lovely show and is held on the edge of the River Thames and Windsor Castle overlooks the field. I expect the Queen has a sneaky lookin too (If you go onto Higham Press site you should be able to find a schedule of the show for this year. Plus Rules & Regulations). |

Congratulations Catherine. A lovely group photo.
Pauline: We will be going to Windsor Champ Show this year on Saturday 3rd July. (Not taking any dogs). If you decide to have a visit let me know.
On Saturday 9th July Spud is opening the Windsor Hospice Summer Fayre and it's an animal day as well. With a fun dog show I do hope he will be on his best behaviour So Windsor two weeks running. |

Hi All
New to this forum, though I did speak to Gina (HI) a little while ago after finding her contact number.
Must first say how amazing all the Serra are, you must all be really proud of them.
The thing that bothers me is the 'not recognised' by the KC. I too have a dog that falls into this category, born in the UK, but.........
the breeder sends all the paperwork of to France SCC and we recieved pedigrees. has anyone thought of sending off the paperwork to see if you too can do this? All the litters born over here of my breed have managed to get pedigrees and registered, only 3 litters so very low in numbers like the Serra.
Waiting for the KC is like waiting to find rocking horse poo.
Good luck in the future with the KC breed recognition, but in the meantime, you need to be able to register any litters. |

Just returned from the Matfield Show & Fete 2010.
Daisy won her class - Best Non Sporting.
Spud won Open Class........
In the challenge for Best In Show.....................
I was so hoping the judge would choose Daisy........................
It went to our Spud..........Daisy was Reserve Best In Show.
This is brilliant news.............she showed so well for Peter. I showed Spud and was really hoping that Daisy would win a BEST IN SHOW. So Spud has won this show two years running But Daisy was so close and Daisy went Best Puppy In Show last Year
I had lots of enquires as to what breed Daisy is. She coped today with very loud muisic and brass bands What a Girl!!!! |
