Hello!!!

Thank you very Much....

Teresa, You can do a RI, Registo Inicial at the monografica, all you need is the dog to have a chip....

The judge will do a breed examanation, and evaluate if dog is really a Serra de Aires or not, ir she is, you u can get papers for her.....

I do know she is a pure serra, her parents belong to D. Pedro de Holstein Beck, duque de Palmela, he's an old gentleman who I think used to be a judge in dog shows. They both work in his farm with the sheep flocks. The thing is, I got Sara through a friend who knows his nephew, my friend went to get Sara and the old duque said he didn't really remember where his dogs papers where, but he could search for them if it was important. He was giving me Sara, not selling, and as my friend knew I wasn't going to breed or show her, she said I wouldn't mind not having papers for her. Which I really don't, anyway she has just been spayed and I don't think you can even show a spayed dog, can you? I wasn't interested in breeding her as I think that should be left for people that really know what they're doing. But I wouldn't mind havind her evaluated by a judge, just for the fun of it and to know if she has good breed caracteristics. I'll take her with me when I go to Aveiro and perhaps that can be arranged. Do you know if I should contact anyone in advance or if it can just be done there and then? Also, how much does one pay for that evaluation?

AnaLee, I've been looking at the site of the Clube Portugus de Canicultura and I see no mention to a Serra de Aires monographic in Aveiro at the 12th September, am I missing something or is it not going to happen after all?

Hello Teresa

The monografic will happen, Its just lack of comunication, from the Serra de Aires Club to the Kennel Club...

I have the brochure with me, and entered my dogs... So its all a go so far...

Good, I'll be there, then, if all goes well... Do you have a timetable for the events regarding the Serra monographic?
