Thought I would let you know that Hiccup arrived in the uk about three weeks ago from France. Bred by Lydia Garreaud at des gardiens de la houlette she came to the uk mid April and is a complete joy. Hiccup was born 26 dec, is fawn colour and has the most wonderful temperament.

Will add pictures when I know how to.

How do I add a picture to the site? You can see pictures of Hiccup on Lydia's Facebook page www.facebook.com/desgardiensdelahoulette. It is really exciting bringing her here and she causes quite a stir right now because she looks like a small furry brown bear

I got Peter to answer this question recently back in April. If you check title

Newbie Question: How if at all possible to upload ....

I have explained each stage. Hope this helps.......

I will check out the Facebook site. I don't write on Facebook. Peter does Rolling Eyes

Hope you enjoy your Serra as much as we have with Daisy. She is a total lunatic at times Exclamation and with Herbert (OES) they are big trouble together Embarassed .

I am trying to bring one from Portugal but just came across all the rules. Is it absolutely compulsory to have the rabies vaccination or can we get a certificate from the vet or so? If rabies needed, what is your experience with the earliest they can be available? 3 months of age for age and then 21 days? I am concerned that a 5 month puppy will struggle to adapt to 2 cats...really sad after all the excitement!!

Thank you... parents are U2 and Belem so could well be same litter, was Tiffany originally called Hippy - if so I thought she looked gorgeous. How's she getting on? Hiccup is settling in fine, but is without a doubt naughty!

Hi Emma

Sorry been out of the loop for a while.

Yes she is Hippy and is very naughty which is a big difference on my boy who is a good a gold. But we love them all just as much, just need to keep reminding myself of this when yet another bed ends up in rags.

Paolo lead me into a false sense of security in thinking Serra are all well behaved and Tiffany is hell bent on showing me that this is not the case!!!

What made you choose a serra?

Ii didn't my husband - I wanted a wheaten and he didn't so he went through the dog book and found the daffiest looking dog he could - he then went on a motorbike journey to France and met Lydia and had all sorts of adventures along the way! On my 50th i was presented with a fait accompli and then waited two more litters cos I insisted on a beige dog!! All that being said what a fabulous breed - yes she is naughty but doesn't really destroy so much ... Really stubborn though - but completely gorgeous we can barely ever go out without being stopped and she just falls over and wants her tummy tickled - we are very lucky to have such and adorable family addition!
