My two dogs have been living an unusual life since building works began at the end of April. Every room on the ground floor is affected and most upstairs. Confused Now 3 months in and at least another month to go I have to say they're coping pretty well with their distracted owners. I shut Finn out the other night by mistake. Crying or Very sad Poor lad I was shocked when I heard a scratching at the door and found him asking to come in Shocked He'd been out for sometime. Rolling Eyes I have always thought he'd wander off exploring if alllowed out on his own. Clearly not so, he stayed close to home as he used to with Paivi when he was a puppy in Finland. Nespa hadn't thought anything was amiss and had come indoors with me and gone to sleep. Insensitive female! Finn will always be defensive of me and having 12 guys around working at the house from time to time is a challenge for him. However, as long, as I am calm so is he. Close at my heels, my constant companion. I love him loads and oooh I can't wait to have my home back. Wink

Glad your dogs are coping with the building works. Serra's are so funny with anything that is new Rolling Eyes
Some years ago we did a barn conversion and lived in a mobile home for 18 months it was supposed to have been 6 months! But that's another story. It's surprising how the dogs and we had 8 at the time coped with the situation, better than us....................... Shocked
