Help please - I have seen refelective sheets put over cars to keep dogs cool. I try not to leave mine in the car but sometimes it can be a necessity. Do you know of good solutions? I've tried one search and so far come up with nothing. Ideas please. Very Happy

We spend 5 months each year in the South of France where heat can be a real concern. We use cool coats for the dogs when they get really warm e g in a car or after a walk They are made up of a type of 'jelly' which must be kept wet at all times but this isn't a problem if kept in their original packaging. It's also possible to obtain 'blankets' for the same purpose sometimes used by humans too. They can be found on the internet quite easily.
Hope this helps

I have just found the packaging for mine. The name is Easidri - high Performance Cooling Coat although this may not be the best. I took the site advice on size and it's a bit big. Our dogs did not really like wearing them last Summer, but they served the purpose well and I will use again this year. I know some dogs are quite happy wearing them but ours don't like their raincoats either. I take them on trips and drape over the dogs in their cage in the car

I use these all the time and they work very well but of course you still need a good air flow.

I even use them with out the dogs
