Recent research reports of the general level of fitness of those over 65 years old found that those who own dogs therefore walk regularly was the same as someone 10 years younger. Laughing You'll guess that this is important to me - you're all too young. Laughing To stay fit own a dog! Probably not news for many of us.

Well I'm over 65................and yes! the Dogs do keep me fit. Unfortunately last year Scooby the WHT pulled my back out and I have been suffering ever since! It had to be the level that a small dog pulls to the medium or larger ones. After Osteo treatment, Physio I'm almost back to normal. Apart from Daisy trying to help me do my Physio excersizes by laying in front of me! Shocked or worse on top of me Rolling Eyes The boys think what is that silly woman doing on the floor Laughing or lick me to death........... Exclamation
Peter goes to the gym................................ Cool and walks the dogs when he thinks it's okay Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad I can't say I look 10 years younger at the moment though Rolling Eyes Probably 10 years older Shocked Never mind I love my dogs Very Happy

Gina you're a star sorry you've had to put up with a painful back. It's dreadful it drains energy. Dogs do seem to enjoy having their owners at their level for a while. Laughing
