Portuguese Sheepdog (Cao da Serra de Aires)

Welcome to the UK’s first website for all those interested in the Portuguese Sheepdog (Cao da Serra de Aires). The name is a long one and often shortened to Serra in Europe. This convention has been adopted in the UK too. Thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of a group of people, a few of this wonderful rare breed have been imported into the UK. The Friendly Serra Club (FSC) is an exciting development to help establish the breed in the U.K. by promoting interest, knowledge and understanding about its unique qualities. Do please sign our pledge to have the Serra recognised by the British Kennel Club.
